The world of training and physiotherapy is an integral part of sports management and preparation. Among the causes of many overload syndromes in sports, an inadequate training schedule is just one. This workshop aims to describe the factors that favor an overload syndrome, introduce the acute / chronic work load ratio, a tool that allows to calculate the “right” training load to reduce the incidence of injuries, describe the training phases in terms of load, repetitions and rest. The best cure is always prevention!
