The competition consists on 1 on-sight route. Male and Female athletes will compete at the same time. The first 6 athletes go on to the next round based on the number of holds climbed and in case of a parity the climbing time is valid.

5,15-7PM MCE19-UW Boulder Male and Female – Quarter Finals

The athletes will compete on four boulder problems that they can try before. In subsequent turn each athlete will have three attempts to solve each block reaching the top. All athletes compete on all the blocks, the ranking takes into account the highest level reached and the number of attempts, in case of a parity the results of the previous tests are taken into account. The best 4 athletes will compete in the finals.

7.30-9PM MCE19-UW Lead Male and Female – Semifinal

Semifinal “double duel”: the six athletes will compete two at a time in parallel, climbing similar routes of difficulty. Both routes will be climbed by each athlete, in turn. The pairs will be thus formed according to the Quarter classification: 6th VS 1st, 5th VS 2nd, 4th VS 3rd. The first 4 athletes go on to the next round. Final based on the total number of holds climbed and in case of a parity the climbing time is valid.

9.30-10.45PM MCE19-UW Lead and boulder Male and Female – Final

The Lead Final consists of a new super on-sight route. Final ranking based on the number of holds climbed and in case of a parity the rise time is valid.
The Boulder Final consists of a new flash final block, each having five minutes of attempts at their disposal. Final ranking based on top, zones and attempts.

Our partner Terra Cielo Mare will award the winner of MCE19-UW LEAD FEMALE with a BP Orienteering super watch. A mechanical watch and a tool for explorers and climbers, he accompanies every day internationally renowned professionals such as Matteo Della Bordella, Luca Schiera, Laura Rogora, Marcello Bombardi and Claudia Ghisolfi.
At the end DJ set until closure of the gym.
