With Michele Maggioni, Pietro DalPra and Katharina Saurwein.
Three athletes with different disabilities will show how the climb has no limit, at least physically.
Michele Maggioni and Lucia Capovilla will talk about their relationship with disability and climbing, then they will climb a route. After these champions you can try to climb with one hand in your pocket, with only one foot, or blindfolded and guided from the ground as used in blind races.
Paraclimbing athletes, led by Michele Maggioni together with Katharina Saurwein, coach of the Austrian national paraclimbing team, will show you how disability is only a mental preconception: climbing without a hand, without a foot or without seeing is not impossible, indeed helps the psyche to strengthen itself. Climbing is a school of life and teaches how to face difficulties and obstacles, even those that seem insurmountable.
