He started climbing with his parents outdoor: at 12 he climbed his first 8a and climbed up to 8b +. He also tried bouldering, sending problems up to 8A and 8B.

Subsequently his passion for this sport has also moved him in the competitive field: he was the Italian U14 champion in 2013.

Since 2014 he has participated in all the youth bouldering competitions, achieving:

• 3rd place in the European championship in 2015 and 2016
• 1st place in the European Cup in 2016 and 2nd place in 2017
• 7th place in the world championship in 2015

In 2017 he participated for the first time in the combined Olympic competition, winning the 2nd place; at the European Championships he ranked 5th.
