Sara Grippo

Sara is a thirty-four year old with thick curly hair native of Paesana, in the Po Valley, where she lived up to a couple of years ago before moving to Arco di Trento where she lives with her boyfriend Stefano Ghisolfi, a climber from Turin, the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro. She started climbing from the age of 18.

She says: “I started climbing when I was 18… a friend of mine who climbed told me to go and try with him, only where I lived there were no artificial gyms, I was surrounded by cliffs.. so the first experience was immediately on the rock and I still remember that when I reached the top (obviously from second) I looked down and thought “and now how do I get down ??? !!”
The thing I like most is being outdoors with friends, in some beautiful places with beautiful views … in fact I always say that we climbers are lucky because when we get to the top is a bit ‘as if we wanted to and we could see from the high the world and the problems become smaller … when I am up there my heart fills me with joy! “
