Originally from a small town in the province of Modena, he faced climbing almost by chance at the age of 7 in a small gym near his home.
He started competing very young, immediately obtaining excellent rankings both in competitions in Italy and in international ones. In the last two years he ranked Lead World Cup winner in Chamonix (2017) and Bouldering Italian Champion (2018).
“I started climbing like any other sport, I quickly fell in love with it and I never stopped. Dragged by a good group of friends I started to make regional, then national, European youth competitions up to joining the national team with which I have been competing since 2009. My best results in my career so far have been the Italian champion Lead title in 2011 and Bouldering title in 2018, 5th place in the 2017 Lead World Cup final standings with a victory in the Chamonix stage. I am very methodical and passionate about training, I like to constantly try to understand how to improve myself and raise my limit more and more”
At the very beginning of this year (2019) he climbed Estado critico 9a and L’odi social 8c+ in Siurana.
